Author Guidelines

All manuscripts should be structured along these lines: Abstract (up to 150 words), JEL codes, Keywords, Introduction, Review of Literature, Objectives, Data and Research Methodology, Findings and Analysis, Discussion, Conclusion & Recommendations, and References. Further, the manuscripts must be typed in letter quality (font size 12 in New Times Roman) in single-space on one side of A4 paper with margins of at least one inch on all sides. The manuscript shall not contain any personal information to ensure a double-blinded peer-review process. Every manuscript must accompany a separate file for the Title page wherein the names, affiliations, contact details, and a short bibliography of the authors must be included. Every submission must be accompanied by a Turnitin similarity report (only 14 words exclusion) of not more than 10 percent. However, this condition may be waived in cases where the similarity index takes into consideration the common terminologies used in related research papers.

While submitting the manuscript, the corresponding author shall certify that:

  • The paper must represent the original work of the listed authors.
  • The manuscript as presented accurately reflects new results.
  • All of the authors have made significant contributions to the manuscript.
  • All those who made significant contributions have been offered the opportunity to be listed as authors.
  • All of the listed authors are aware of and agree to the submission of the manuscript.
  • The manuscript has not been published, and is not now, and will not be under consideration by any other journal while it is considered here.
  • The authors accept the established procedures for selecting manuscripts for publication.
  • If the manuscript is withdrawn by the authors after the review process has started, they will have to pay a fine of INR5000 (USD80).

Authors shall not present ideas, data, and results obtained by others as if they have been their own. Plagiarism should be strictly avoided. Papers that have been found to violate this rule shall be rejected.

Original manuscripts may be submitted to the journal at any time during the year.

General instructions for preparing the manuscript

Content suggestions: The abstract should be precise and include the primary research question, methodology, key findings, and implications. The introduction should include a statement of the problem being addressed, its implications, originality, and potential audiences. The conclusion should tell the reader clearly what the study finds or demonstrates. It should be consistent with the objectives outlined in the introduction. It should describe the implications of the results for researchers, traders, policymakers, etc. Use present tense throughout (introduction, main body, conclusion). Past tense should be reserved for descriptions of past research.

Headings/Sub-headings: Headings should be in bold and italicized while the sub-headings should be italicized. The font must be similar to that of the text. Sub-headings should be numbered as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and so on.

Literature citations: Literature citations should be made in the latest APA style. References should include all the text-citations, which means the references should refer only to the material listed within the text. Do not abbreviate journal names. Please limit author's as well as journal's self-citation to not more than 10 percent.

Tables: Each table must be cited in the text, and the tables themselves should be embedded in the article text. All tables should be numbered consecutively with Roman numerals and should include an explanatory heading for the table as a whole and each column within the table. All tables should be orientated like portrait.

Figures: Figures should also be embedded in the text. Please cite the figure in the article text. Figures must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. All figures should be orientated like portrait, and must be made only of black & white.
